The role

As a Senior Consultant, you may work as the trusted advisor to a large government agency, lead an ISO 27001 implementation in a commercial organisation, or deliver short, focused projects to a high standard.

Our areas of specialisation are:

• Information security governance, risk and assurance.

• Security leadership e.g. Virtual CISO and ITSM.

• Risk management consulting.

• Audit and assessment services.

• Government Certification and Accreditation.

• ISO 27001 implementation and certification.

We are also growing our AI governance and delivery practice. If you have interest or experience in that space, there is room to develop it here.

What we are looking for

Essential:

• Familiarity with NZ government security frameworks, particularly NZISM and the Protective Security Requirements (PSR) - this is essential for our government-sector work.

• Experience in one or more of our specialisation areas above.

• Prior experience in professional services consulting. We will give strong preference to candidates with a consulting background.

• A customer-focused, self-managing approach. You take pride in your work and deliver to time and budget.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You can lead customers and colleagues to the right outcomes.

• An enthusiasm for learning and improving.

• A team player who is easy to work with - this is an important part of our culture.

Advantageous:

• A current NZ government security clearance (Confidential or above), or eligibility to obtain one.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
